主題と目標

In this course, students will learn in detail the process of making their graduation theses. We will deal with the ways of selecting good topics, gathering important previous studies, summarizing the previous studies appropriately, developing students' own ideas and expressing their own ideas an hypotheses effectively. Students will choose a tentative topic, read some previous studies and try to write a 10-page mid-term paper in English by using the format for the graduation theses so that students will be able to have specific images of their own graduation theses. 本演習では卒業論文の製作過程に関する詳細を扱う。良いトピックの選び方、先行文献の収集方法、先行文献のまとめ方（剽窃に関する講義を含む）、卒論に関する各自の仮説の立て方について詳しく講義を行う。さらに卒業論文につながるような各自のトピックを選び、先行文献を収集し、先行文献のまとめを英文で行い、卒論で扱いたい内容について考察を深め、10ページのミニ卒論にまとめる。優秀なミニ卒論に関してディスカッショングループを作り内容の発表を行うことで、ミニ卒論の書き方に関して批評を行い、よい卒業論文の作成に関する理解を深める。

時間外学習
配布された教材を授業前によく読み、グループワークの際はメンバーに迷惑がかからないよう担当部分の準備をしっかりとおこなって下さい。グループ発表前はハンドアウト作成や印刷等、授業外でおこなう作業が多くなるため、メンバーでしっかりと協力して準備をしてください。

学生へのメッセージ
グループワークの時間を多くとるため、グループメンバーに迷惑をかけないように極力欠席しないこと。発表のためのハンドアウトを作成し授業内発表を行うので、積極的に参加すること。ミニ卒論のトピック選定やミニ卒論を書き進めることなど、授業以外の作業が多くなるので、遅れをとらないように計画的に取り組んでください。
