- If you have no knowledge of the Japanese scripts hiragana and katakana, please learn these scripts by yourself before joining the program. There are various free learning tools to study Japanese scripts. -This program encourages multi-cultural communication using Japanese. Your contribution to group activities and the collaborative participation attitude will be highly evaluated.

主題と目標
Absolute beginners class:　This course is designed for learners with no prior experience of studying Japanese. Throughout the course, students mainly learn oral skills: survival expressions and basic vocabulary commonly used in daily life. A brief introduction to Hiragana and Katakana is also included. Upon completing this course, students are expected to reach A1 level in CEFR. Introductory Class:　This course is designed for elementary-level learners with a limited learning experience. Students mainly learn oral skills throughout the course: essential sentence structures and basic vocabulary that are commonly used in daily life. Upon completing this course, students are expected to reach A2 level in CEFR. Pre-Intermediate class:　スピーチやスピーチへの質問や答えを練習によって話す力を高める。学習した文法を復習し、語彙を増やして自分自身や経験、感想などについて、まとまった内容について話せるようになる。自分が参加したバーチャルツアーについて発表し、調べたことについて説明したり、感想を述べたりして、まとまった話ができるようになる。（一人約7-8分）コースの終わりには、CEFR　B1レベルに到達することが期待されます。

Pre-Intermediate class:　スピーチやスピーチへの質問や答えを練習によって話す力を高める。
学習した文法を復習し、語彙を増やして自分自身や経験、感想などについて、まとまった内容について話せるようになる。自分が参加したバーチャルツアーについて発表し、調べたことについて説明したり、感想を述べたりして、まとまった話ができるようになる。（一人約7-8分）
コースの終わりには、CEFR　B1レベルに到達することが期待されます。

授業計画
July 18th - August 5th, Monday, Wednesday, Friday: Offline self-study and Online lesson via Zoom; July 28th: Virtual Tour participation; August 2nd: presentation preparation

時間外学習
Before class: View online lecture on course Moodle and take quizzes. After class: Short writing assignments related to the online lesson. Please note that participation is essential. If you miss the classes for more than 3 days, you will not receive credits. Arriving late 4 times for more than 20 minutes is considered an absence.
