06:30pm-08:00pm, July 14, Monday (JST) (Lecture1) *Online What are some of the issues in the contemporary Japanese society? What are some of the important elements of the Japanese culture? Students will learn about the Japanese society and its culture. Active participation in class is required, as discussions and other activities will be included.
06:30pm-08:00pm, July 16, Wednesday (JST) (Lecture2) :Online What are some of the issues in the world today? How can these issues be tackled? Students will consider about the social issues in their own countries and exchange opinions to tackle the issues as an international community.
05:00pm-06:30pm, July 23, Wednesday (JST) (Lecture3) To tackle the global issues, what kind of leadership is necessary? Who can be considered as an ideal leader? In this class, students will learn about different types of leadership and skills necessary to lead a group of people.
05:00pm-08:00pm, July 25, Friday (JST) (Mid-term Presentaion) Outside of class, students will prepare for their final presentations through online and face-to-face group work. Other students will listen to the presentations and provide feedback for improvement. Active participation is also expected in this class.

05:00pm-06:30pm, July 28, Monday (Workshop) Following the two special lectures, participants will exchange opinions about their learnings and what it means to acquire global leadership skills. Students will consider what kind of practices are necessary to achieve this in a multicultural group.
05:00pm-06:30pm, July 29, Tuesday (Workshop: Global Leadership (1.5h)) Following the lectures, participants will discuss their views of the global issues and the leadership necessary to tackle them. The relationship between the types of leadership and organizational structures will be carefully examined.
05:00pm-06:30pm, August 1, Friday (Preparation for Final Presentation) In this class, students will share what they have learned by working in groups of students with different backgrounds. They will exchange opinions to brush-up their presentations and re-organize them, if necessary.
9:00am-12:00pm/ 01:00pm-04:00pm August 5, Tuesday (JST) (Final Presentation and Q&As) The final presentations will be made to the entire class and to other faculty, staff, and students. All the members need to participate and make their presentation within 10 minutes. There will be time for questions and answers, so students should be ready to answer the questions.
