There are no requirements for taking the course, but much of the course content will overlap with Classical Mechanics (1). 高校物理・数学程度の知識があれば充分です。

主題と目標

In this course we will explore concepts in the world of physics using the language of English. The intent of this course is twofold: to supplement the students’ understanding of Physics in their native language with an English vocabulary, and to build the students’ confidence in discussing ideas and solving problems in English. この授業では、英語で物理の世界を探検する。英語のボキャブラリーを増やして物理学の理解を深めることと英語で議論・問題解決することが目的である。"

Japanese is a beautiful language. Unfortunately, most experts in the Physics community around the world do not yet understand it, and communicate using the lesser language known as English. However, by learning another language, we can enhance our understanding by learning to approach the same problems from different perspectives.
